Happenings

Movie: Little Children (2006)
Book: The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream, Barack Obama

It's been a while, and I while I really don't have earth-shattering news, I've got a few little tidbits that some might find interesting.

1.) We're moving...again.

And I really do mean it this time.

Don't worry--we're staying in Ames. We bought a house. We'll be moving in July. More on that later.

2.) Kim's dad had emergency double-bypass surgery about a month ago now. He'd been having pains in his arm for a while, and when he went to get it checked out, they told him they had to operate the next day. Scary at the time, but he's at home now and doing fine. Thanks to everybody who wished him and us well.

3.) I got a promotion at work. I'm now the production manager at Championship Productions, where we've just won our third Telly Award in the past two years. Nothing I was personally involved with, but now that I'm production manager, I can take all the credit for everything we do. So I rock. Hard.

4.) My parents got a new dog a couple of months ago. Her name is Nellie, and she's much bigger now. (She's the one on the left.)

5.) My sister Holly (the one on the right) got new kitten a few weeks ago. She named him Derby ("Der" for short) because she got him the day of the Kentucky Derby, and he constantly runs around like he's in a race. No picture available for that little bugger.

6.) Season 6 of 24 sucked. Bad. On the other hand, Season 3 of Lost wasn't as bad as lot of other people say it was. [end TV nerd entry]

They've found me!

So I just posted some new pictures on Flickr, and within minutes, I got this comment on one of them...

a friend told me that you are the most trusted seller on flickr when it comes to selling nude images of children. That's great to hear, please send me a copy of your prices list. And what payment methods do you accept? Thanks.

How did you know?!

Seriously, though, that's weird.
